You Capture: Black and White

This week afforded me the opportunity to sink into something I've been putting off. It was an excellent opportunity for me to play with Photoshop (I am a complete novice). Who knew there was so much you could do with a black and white image? Oh right, you did... Please, constructive comments encouraged.

  4. OH, you did GREAT!! My faves are the first one and the one with the retreating figure of the boy with his stuffed animal. But then I'm a sucker for those shots taken from behind. I especially like the first one because you also captured action.

  12. i would *love* to see one of the photos taken and turned into a bunch of different variations
    know what i mean?
    like cropped completely differently
    contrast different
    color
    etc
i wonder how many things you could do with a single photo?

did i mention that i love your work?

  15. Great job, especially for a first foray! I especially love the last one. If you want to play some more, I recommend messing about with the Levels sliders after you go to black and white, especially if you want to make something really dramatic.
